Every Warrington food hygiene rating since 18 September: 39 businesses scored 5, Krunchy's on Orford Lane got a 4, none rated lower. Full list with dates.

Forty Warrington food businesses have had a new hygiene rating published since our last roundup on 25 September. Thirty-nine scored the top rating of 5. One, Krunchy’s on Orford Lane, was rated 4. Nobody was rated 3 or below.

That is a clean fortnight. The September roundup carried two 1s and a 2.

The figures come from the Food Standards Agency’s register for Warrington, which lists every inspection carried out by the borough council’s environmental health officers. We pulled the whole Warrington list and kept every rating dated 18 September 2026 or later. The list is in date order, newest first, with the inspection date the register records.

What it means for you

If you eat out in Warrington, every business above has been inspected in the last three weeks and passed well. A rating is a snapshot of the day the officer called, so it says most about the kitchen’s routine rather than any single meal.

If you run one of these businesses, the register shows the rating from the inspection date, and it can take a few weeks for a new score to appear. A business that disagrees with its rating can appeal to the council within 21 days of being told, can ask for a re-inspection once it has made improvements, and can publish a “right to reply” alongside the rating.

If you want to look someone up, the FSA register is free, searchable by name or postcode, and shows the individual scores for hygiene, structure and management. Our previous roundups are under Warrington news.
