Gulliver's World is set for Saturday 7 November and Partridge Lakes runs three nights. The Halliwell Jones Stadium display has not been announced yet.

Bonfire night 2026 falls on Thursday 5 November, and as of 3 September only two displays in the borough have a published 2026 date. Both are on the western and northern edges of town, and neither is the one most people in Warrington actually go to.

Warrington Borough Council does not run a public fireworks display. Its events calendar currently lists no events at all. Every display below is run by a business, a club or a parish.

Gulliver’s World, Saturday 7 November

Gulliver’s has the firmest booking. Its own event page says the theme park runs extended hours of 12pm to 8pm that day, that selected rides and attractions stay open until 7.30pm, and that the fireworks go up at approximately 8pm on Saturday 7 November only. The display is described as free, meaning it is included with theme park entry rather than sold separately. (Gulliver’s World)

The park adds its own caveat, in its words: “fireworks shows may be subject to modification or cancellation without prior notice, particularly in the case of severe weather conditions.”

Note that the older URL gulliversworldresort.co.uk/november-fireworks, which still turns up in search results, now returns a 404. The live page is under /explore/whats-on/.

Partridge Lakes, Culcheth, three nights

Partridge Lakes at Glaziers Lane, Culcheth, WA3 4AQ has confirmed Thursday 5, Friday 6 and Saturday 7 November 2026, entry from 5pm, display at 7pm, over the Gold Lake for the first time. (Partridge Lakes)

Two things about this one are worth knowing before you plan around it.

First, it is deliberately not a loud display. The venue redesigned the event into a “Laser Light Show & Low Noise Firework Display synchronised to music”, and says plainly that this was to avoid disturbing neighbours in a semi-rural area and to make it suitable for pets and young children. If you want big bangs, this is not the one.

Second, tickets are not on sale yet. The page carries a mailing list signup rather than a booking link, and the venue says previous years sold out “in less than an hour for all three evenings”. A child ticket covers anyone under 16 and all tickets are non-refundable.

Halliwell Jones Stadium: not announced

The biggest display in Warrington is normally the Warrington Wolves fireworks night at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, Mike Gregory Way, WA2 7NE. There is no 2026 announcement. The club’s events feed has published nothing about fireworks since 1 October 2025, and the newest item in it is from March 2026. (Warrington Wolves)

What that 2025 listing said is a fair guide to what to expect, and to the timings and prices:

  • Saturday 1 November 2025, doors 5.30pm, kit launch 7pm, fireworks display 7.30pm
  • Fireworks and a laser show, live music, a fun fair, artisan markets, children’s entertainers and Wolfie
  • Spectators seated in the East Stand
  • Members: adult £13, junior 16 and under £5, family of two adults and two juniors £30, VIP adult £22, VIP child £10
  • Non-members: adult £15, junior 16 and under £5, family £34, VIP adult £25, VIP child £10
  • The family ticket was available in store or over the phone only

Two warnings. The club’s own timings list in that article is mislabelled: it reads “2025 Kit Launch: 7:00 PM” while the headline and body both say the 2026 home and away kits were unveiled that night. And the Warrington BID events site still carries a page titled “Fireworks at The Halliwell Jones Stadium” dated 4 November 2023, marked expired. Do not read that as this year’s date.

If the pattern holds, expect the 2026 announcement in early October, on sale through tickets.warringtonwolves.com.

Village displays, all still TBC

The three community displays people in the borough book early for have no 2026 dates either. The community site lymm.uk, which tracks them year to year, lists all of them as TBC and notes that the 2024 Lymm Round Table display was announced on 4 October, with Thelwall’s usually announced around the same time. Lymm Round Table, Cherry Tree Primary School, Hardy Road, Lymm WA13 0NX. In 2025 it ran on Saturday 8 November: doors 6pm, a quieter children’s display at 6.45pm lasting about five minutes, main display at 8pm lasting about fifteen. Tickets went on sale around 4 October and sold out by about 3 November. The 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 events all sold out in advance too. (lymm.uk)

Thelwall, Bell Lane. Worth knowing that Thelwall runs a week earlier than Lymm’s: its 2025 event was Saturday 1 November, the same night as the Halliwell Jones display. In 2025: doors 5pm, children’s rides from 5.30pm, bonfire lit at 6pm, family friendly fireworks from 6.45pm. £12 adults, £7 children and concessions, £30 family, available on the gate. Parking is limited and cars left unsafely on surrounding roads may be ticketed. Do not bring your own fireworks or sparklers. (lymm.uk)

Spooky World, Stretton Road, WA4 4NW, runs a bonfire and firework display on its farmland and says tickets are on sale, but its page prints no date, and its “Spooky at Night” scare event runs alongside the bonfire with scare actors on site. (Spooky World)

Just outside the borough, the Cheshire Showground display is listed for Friday 6 November 2026, opening 5.30pm with the display at 7.30pm, with tickets discounted online until 5 November.

lymm.uk lists three more as date TBC that are worth watching if the bigger ones sell out: The Wheatsheaf, which does a silent display, High Legh Park, new in 2025, and Bowdon Cricket Club, which is over the border in Trafford and also sells out in advance. (lymm.uk)

Getting there and parking

Gulliver’s World has free onsite parking, which is the easiest of the confirmed two. Partridge Lakes is on a country lane in Culcheth and its neighbours are the reason the display is quiet, so expect the same pressure on verges that Thelwall warns about.
