Rhode Island Coffee, Caffè Caruso, a pottery cafe and three park cafes: 11 Warrington and Lymm cafes with hours and hygiene ratings, checked 25 October.
The Warrington cafes people look for most are Rhode Island Coffee in Golden Square, which the Warrington Guardian named Best Coffee Shop in 2024, and Caffè Caruso, open by the old market since 1994. Zalos and the Jenny Wren’s pottery cafe are on Stockton Heath’s main streets, and Lymm has Sextons, a bakery that has been in the village since 1969. Every entry was checked against the venue’s own website on 25 October 2026.
We have not visited these cafes for this guide, and nothing here is a review. Each entry sets out what the cafe says about itself and what it publishes about hours, food and booking, with the Food Standards Agency hygiene rating. Where a fact comes from somewhere other than the cafe’s own site, we say so.

How we chose
We started from the cafes Warrington people search for and that local award lists keep naming, and added the cafes in the borough’s parks, gardens and farms. Then we checked each one against its own website and the Food Standards Agency register on 25 October 2026. Every cafe here is rated 5 for hygiene. We left out places whose own website we could not reach or that had no current hours we could confirm, and we left out national chains. Nobody listed has paid to be here. For more ideas, see things to do in Warrington, what’s on this month, our Warrington restaurants guide, the latest Warrington food hygiene ratings and the cafes in our directory.
